My name is Oryan and I am new to this site. I am also new to the craft. I am here to learn and broaden my horizons into an area in which I feel comfortable.

Thank you Aiyana & Gealwyne.

As I am new to all of this can you give me a couple of tips on how to get started?

You must learn, patiense, focus and control which can be achieved through meditation. We would suggest reading Pagan Paths to show you the diffrent paths in paganisim, Wicca for the solitary practitionar, Raymond Bucklands Big blue book, Cassandra Easson, Kate West all of these are good starting Authors for new Seekers and the more advansed. A quick tip try and buy them through the new and second hand section via Amazon as they are cheaper than the list price.

Welcome aboard Oryan!
My initial response to your question was, is there anything that particularly interests or draws you to it?
As Gealwyne stated there are many paths in Pagamism and in many ways Paganism is an umbrella term which covers an enormous range of beliefs and paths. Many people are drawn to certain aspects of a variety of paths and incorporate them into what feels right for them personally. I think this is one of the many joys of Paganism. My advice would be take your time and enjoy finding out what feels right to you. Read everything that you can lay your hands on and open your mind.
Like many I think Scott Cunninghams's "Wicca for the Solitary Practioner" is a good start. His writing has a certain clarity which I think is particularly useful for new seekers, likewise Kate West and Cassandra Eason. I would also recommend Sally Morningstar, I love her gentle spirit.
Remember that no matter how long we have been treading our paths we are always seekers and can learn something new every day!
Blessings
